The HeartAssist 5® is designed, using advanced technologies, to have fewer complications and side effects than other current LVADs, and includes Next Generation features such as FlowAccurate™ Diagnostics (as direct blood flow measurement) available through the HeartAssistRemote™ (Worldwide Remote Monitoring.) These features are now available from the HeartAssist 5®.
